Katherine has provided property research services for me both personally and professionally. Her work has been vital. We have worked together for decades. It is without hesitation that I recommend Katherine.

In 2014, Katherine put together an incredible historical exhibit for the Sonoma-Marin Fair’s 75th Anniversary. She did a great job of researching and capturing the old events and characters of the past. She presented an accurate and thorough timeline of the previous 75 years in a very picturesque and entertaining way. Her exhibit was a focal point for our Fair that year and her efforts were very much appreciated by all.

Already a valued Sonoma County historian, Katherine Rinehart is also becoming one of the area’s go-to archiving powerhouses. She expertly processed several collections for Sonoma State University Library during my tenure there as Head of Special Collections. She consistently showed care and commitment in her work, always keeping in mind the varied needs of researchers — including college students, scholars, and community members. Her background in local history makes her a particularly important resource for research questions related to the North Bay.
